With October being nearly half-way over with, in the past two weeks I have learned about a new form of art that has nearly more technological aspects than artistic.. I'm talking about 3D art. By "new" I mean it's new to me, I know it's been around for years. I've been learning modeling in Maya, and it's pretty crazy XD On top of that, I've been animating my first 3D character. ^^

I discovered I have a knack for modeling, meaning I make 3D models that are both correct AND look nice XD (for a beginner anyways..) Sooner or later I will start uploading my basic 3D art. Currently, I have a chameleon, a dragon head, and a full dragon that's for my 3D class. I've been uber busy XD Especially with my hectic art class on top of the 3D one.

I really want to get better at this model-art thing.. I like it a lot. It's fun and different! Of course, I have a long ways to go before I perfect my current traditional and 2D digital art skills.. Heck, I can't even draw the front view of a dragon >.< Oh well, just thought I'd give you guys an update on school.

Anyways, I won't get too down about that. I've been getting increasingly homesick lately, mostly because my home-state is already getting colder, while here it's still hotter than hell >.< It's weird because my body will "prepare" for the upcoming season, like I have this bizarre sixth sense that let's me know what season is coming up. That "sense" has been going off about autumn, and I'm kinda depressed because I won't experience an autumn...or winter...

*sighs* Well, on top of that, someone must have turned on a switch that activated my polarity, because I've randomly been attracting guys O.o;; Some seem interested in relationships, others just want to be buddies. Either way, I find it both weird and funny XD This never happened in high school.

Ok, I've covered the heat and polarity, now it's Demon Lord time! If you don't want to read about the Demon Lords, then I hope all is well and peace out Otherwise, read below:

[Demon Lords]:
These creatures are the opposite of the Dragon Lords: They want to use their elements for destruction, not for protection. They, like the Dragons, are born of their elements from the universe. As a reminder, there is Fire, Water, Earth, Air and Spirit. These creatures are not proud and admirable like the Dragons, these creatures are frightening, creepy, or even gruesome. (Believe me, you'd have a heart attack seeing the Water Demon drifting toward you!) The Demon Lords were created by the forces of the Universe because the Universe needs balance, yin and yang so to speak. So for every element of protection, there is one for destruction.

*whew* Boy this week has dragged on... the intensely long school hours probably contribute to that. I only have two classes this whole month and they just drag onnn and onnnnnn.. on the plus side, the coffee here ROCKS! *cough*

However, I won't complain much because this is an expensive school and I'm going to make the best of it XD So, my GIMP Dragon Lords are coming along ok, but it'll be awhile before they're done.. I'm working on a billion sketches right now, but I'll freely accept any requests or trades Hopefully I'll upload more work as the week goes on.

For now I need to relax and write a paper..

Yaaaaay I'm here in sunny Florida now and I just got cable and internet It's been awesome living on my own.. And now that I have a new, cute hamster, I can have someone to talk to. His name is Gadget XD

Gosh it's weird seeing "florida" under Location on my profile page.. I have a feeling it won't be long before I miss my crazy old state of Michigan (especially when winter comes along). BUT I'm excited for college! Classes start in a week. I'm going into Computer Animation at Full Sail University.
